Monkey Business Industries is a game developer founded by ex-videogame journalists, focused on handheld and mobile games, as well as non-gaming applications. Mac's iPhone is Monkey Business' central platform, with ports to Sony's PSP and Nintendo's DS, as well as all economic viable smartphone platforms.
Our aim is simple: To create games that are enjoyed by anyone looking to waste some time playing videogames, and wants to have a blast doing so. Our games are never expensive, always original, easy to get into, and rewarding if you keep on playing them.
Monkey Business' first game, Final Approach, focuses on accessible gameplay and mesmerizing music and will be released in summer 2010. Further details will be announced the day before it hits the App store.

Few people know that primates are very audio sensitive. Having an amazing soundtrack in all of our games will always be one of our top priorities, so our search for fitting music has been long and hard. We're happy to announce that Monkey Business Industries signed a deal with Mat Jarvis, producer of the album GAS 0095, to use Microscopics, one of the world's biggest cult ambient tracks of all time, to lead it's amazing soundtrack.
The story behind Monkey Business Industries' newest project Final Approach is one of epic proportions, and we've got a deal to prove it! Comic Book publisher Viper Comics saw the storyboard and is so convinced that they are willing to publish it digitally, as well as printed. The comic book version of our story is expected to hit the streets at the same time as the iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad release.
The Final Approach project is getting bigger and bigger every day. For the technical side of things, we decided to work together with Newrosoft, an experienced software developer. These guys have successfully created games for big publishers like Sony Pictures Digital and Gameloft. Their knowledge of the iPhone hardware will certainly come in handy.
We are very proud to announce that we teamed up with David Bols to do the artwork of the main story in Final Approach. David is a renowned graphic artist who has worked as an animator on the Oscar nominated animated film The Secret of Kells. Next to this he has an extensive track record of storyboard and character design experience. Together with his creative input, the story behind the Final Approach videogame will be a unique and important part of the entire project. That's also the reason why we decided to release the story as a separate comic book.
